We looked forward to a relaxing five days in Phuket, the touristy but fun island located in southern Thailand. We were joined by our good friends Lisa and Simon who brought along a little surprise of their own; Lisa's belly was showing nicely as she was in her second trimester! Unfortunately, Winston came down with fever and diarrhea for two days in the middle of the Phuket week, which meant that he and Simon had to cancel out on the four-dive day that they had booked. However, good food, some sea kayak exploration, a few "special" massages, and a wonderful stay at the JW Marriott on the last night made the experience a really nice change from the hectic schedule of the previous two months.
