We decided to take about two weeks to tour the South Island, and then a week to visit a few places in the North. The pictures on this page take us from Christchurch, down through the Hydro Lakes, up to Mount Cook, and then back to the East Coast. We then headed south to drive along the Southern Scenic Route, through the Catlins, and then up to Milford Sound.
