Our first taste of Australia was its largest city, Sydney, where we stayed with Jen's friend in a great neighbourhood called Kirribilli. It was quite a change from what we had been experiencing for the previous nine months; in fact, visiting Sydney reminded us much of Seattle and Vancouver. We enjoyed several walks around the city, catching up with friends we had met on the road in previous travels, and taking in some of the many tourist attractions that Sydney had to offer.
