After visiting Bhutan, we flew down to Bangkok, where we stayed briefly before hopping down to Phuket to hang out with Lisa and Simon for a few days. After Phuket, we returned to Bangkok where we ate, relaxed, ate, took care of visas, ate, and walked around the city before we joined up with another Intrepid tour. This tour concentrated mostly in Laos, but started in Bangkok and ended in Hanoi, Vietnam. After spending one more day in Bangkok with the tour group, we headed north to Chiang Mai for a short visit before making our way to the Thailand/Laos border. We will be coming back to Thailand in a few weeks, after we circle through Vietnam and Cambodia, eventually making our way down south to Malaysia.
